How a post moves through Nook

  1. 1.0

    Draft

Write one caption, pick the accounts, and add media with alt text.

  2. 2.0

    Check

Every target is checked against its network's published limits before you can schedule.

  3. 3.0

    Approve

Teammates who need sign-off submit for approval; clients approve in the same place.

  4. 4.0

    Schedule

Pick a time in the workspace's time zone. The zone is always shown next to the time.

  5. 5.0

    Publish

Posts go out on time. Anything that fails lands in one list with the reason and the fix.

What you do in the app

Instagram Ridgeline Coffee

  • Blocks scheduling: Caption is 2,244 characters; Instagram allows 2,200.
  • Blocks scheduling: bottles.png is 1080×1920; Instagram feed images must be between 4:5 and 1.91:1.
  • Note: bottles.png will be converted to JPEG (Instagram accepts JPEG only).
  • Note: bottles.png has no alt text.

Pre-flight checks on every target

The composer checks each account against its network's limits as you type: caption length, hashtags, image ratio, carousel size, alt text. Blocking issues stop scheduling and say exactly why.

One list for everything that went wrong

Failed and unscheduled posts sit in their own tabs with the cause in plain words and the action that fixes it: reconnect, edit media, retry, or check the network first when the outcome is unknown.

Approvals that live on the post

Schedulers submit posts for approval; owners, admins, managers and clients approve or send them back with a comment. A post still waiting when its time arrives is moved to Unscheduled, never published unapproved.

Workspaces and roles for agencies

One workspace per agency or brand. Invite teammates by email; invitations expire after seven days and only work for the address they were sent to.

Warnings before connections expire

Instagram connections last 60 days. Nook warns you a week before, so reconnecting is a scheduled task instead of a missed campaign.

Problems we built this to fix

A post fails because the caption or image breaks a network rule you didn't know about.
Pre-flight checks show the exact limit on every target while you write, not after it fails.
A connection quietly expires and a week of posts never goes out.
Expiry warnings seven days ahead, and one Tasks list that says which account to reconnect.
A client approves over chat and nobody can find the final version.
Approval lives on the post: submitted, approved or sent back with a comment.
An error message says “something went wrong” and nothing else.
Every failure names its cause in plain words and offers the one action that fixes it.

Questions

Which networks can I publish to?

Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts first. X comes next.

Can I publish today?

Not yet. The app runs on sample data until our Meta app is approved; nothing you do in the demo is published.

What does creating an account give me now?

A workspace, team invitations, and the full app running on sample data.

How much will it cost?

Pricing is not set yet. No card is needed to create an account.

How do you store access to my social accounts?

Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never sent to your browser. The Privacy page has the details.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Account deletion is self-serve in Settings; data export is by request (see the Privacy page).

Do you support personal Instagram accounts?

No. Instagram's API only publishes for Business and Creator accounts.
